Physicist Deepak Dhar, first Indian selected for Boltzmann Medal



 Prof. Deepak Dhar, emeritus professor in the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune, shares the prestigious Boltzmann Medal prize with Prof. John Hopfield, of the Princeton University for their achievements in statistical physics as declared by IUPAP on its website. The award will be presented to him during the Statphys28 Conference to be held in Tokyo, Japan, in August 2023.
